Programs: Through policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement, klamath riverkeeper supported administrative processes to ensure that four dams will be removed by 2020, upheld laws to protect and restore flows in the klamath river and it's tributaries, and helped uphold water quality standards. Activities related to dam removal, water allocation, and water quality comprised the programatic activites in 2016. These activities and accomplishments benefit thousands of people who depend on the klamath river for food, jobs, recreation, and cultural practices.
