Mission: Kllts mission is to advocate for the conservation of south central oregons forests wetlands deserts and watersheds
Programs: In 2016, kllt and our partners, continued with the most intensive part of the restoration project of removing 1. 5 miles of levees along the river, reconnecting it to its historic floodplain. Over the course of the next several years, kllt will plant nearly 17,000 native plants in the riparian area and seed the upland sections of the property with native grasses. Kllt staff anticipates the project will be completed in late 2017 with ongoing monitoring and management.
