I have been on the receiving end of the public's charity, and I can say without a doubt that every action, little or big, can make a huge impact to someone's life. So, when it came time that I was ready to give back, a friend introduced us to the Kiwanis Club of Moorpark. I instantly fell for the group. They truly care for the community and are always looking for ways to make our amazing town a better place - honoring/sponsoring local schools and kids, helping with the food drive, for example. I consider myself very fortunate to be part of this organization.
Moorpark Kiwanis Club benefits Moorpark schools, nonprofit organizations, and the community in important ways. Members are dedicated to serving the community and have fun together while doing so at events and fundraisers such as Civil War Days, Veterans Day Memorial, and Wine and Moonlight.
What an awesome group of people coming together making our community a better and safe place to live and work in. The Kiwanis Club of Moorpark is great cross section of charitable and determined members of the local community with the shared desire to help local children and give back to our town. I am happy to be a part of of this great team.
Moorpark Kiwanis does an amazing amount of work through out the community. The members are service oriented, hard working, always available, fun loving group of individuals committed to making our community a great, safe place to live and work. I personally love the elementary school library projects which are done often; the festive Breakfast with Santa annual event for struggling Moorpark kids and their families; and the signature Wine & Moonlight event. The meetings are organized, informative, short and well attended. Anyone interested in joining a worthwhile club should come to a meeting and check us out!
The Moorpark Kiwanis is a "hands on" volunteer organization with a heart for serving. I am amazed with all the projects we do in Moorpark for the children and other groups. Terrific Kids brings a smile to children and I especially like that we serve refreshments at the Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremony to show our patriotism and remember those who serve and have made our country great. Moorpark Kiwanis is a club dedicated to helping and supporting the local community. I joined the club about 2 years ago. We work hard, have fun and enjoy each others' company. Kiwanis is a warm and welcoming group where new members are appreciated and immediately included in all activities.
Moorpark KIWANIS is a wonderful nonprofit organization that help serve its community. They have helped with multiple projects and other organizations of all kinds throughout their local area, and continue to do so. Their active roles benefit multiple lives constantly with their well-organized plans throughout each year, and provide volunteering opportunities for others to become interactive with their community along with them also. Everything they accomplish, they do it with spirit, integrity, and a smile.
Moorpark Kiwanis is a great club! I have been a member for more than 20 years because the members are wonderful and we do worthwhile things for the community. We focus on the youth of Moorpark through our volunteer hours at events. We have been doing "Terrific Kids" at the elementary schools for almost 20 years and helping clubs and youth in the city as approved by the club. The club is a great way to give back without a big financial commitment but the time spent doing the events pays big returns.
Kiwanis club of Moorpark is a wonderful organization. We have three major fundraisers annually (Wine and Moonlight, food booth at the Civil War Reenactment and parking patrol at the Blues Festival).
All money earned goes back to the community of Moorpark. We support the following:

High Street Theater Arts Foundation
