Kittens Rescue NW is a small rescue with a big heart. There is no designated facility at this time to house their kittens. The rescue is composed of fosters willing to open their homes and hearts to these small creatures. The volunteers go out on a regular basis to show these adorable kittens at adoption events in hopes of finding the perfect home for each kitten. They have helped me personally when I found a couple of stray kittens. They guided me through the fostering process. They take in all types of cats. They take in the healthily along with those that are in need of extra help. Some have been rescued from atrocious situations and have needed surgery and a lot of T.L.C. They give so much more than what they receive. They are truly a wonderful charity.
I have worked with Angie for several years. She has a heart for all animals and takes in the ones that are critical and with devastating back stories. She always has bottle babies with her and teens to their needs while taking care of all the other kitties. She is amazing with the animals!! Thank you bc Angie
I have had the pleasure of adopting two cats from Kitten Rescue. Our Dexter was adopted in 2019 and Jaxson in 2020. The process was easy. Both babies were healthy.
Upon adoption we were given shot records and microchip info.
We drove from Oklahoma for these adoptions.
The babies truly had furry godmothers looking out for them at Kittens Rescue. It shows by their great personalities and the love they show everyone in our home.
They are the best. Donate, Donate they cannot do it themselves.
Kittens Rescue NW Inc. (KRNW) makes a difference! The greater San Antonio, TX area is well known, statistically speaking, for having one of the highest rates of "dumped" animals in the nation. Also known as "abandoned, feral, stray", the cat and kitten population is out of control. I encourage anyone who doubts this or questions my statement to research the facts. As a result all animal rescue organizations , and recovery organizations in this area are over burdened, over full, under funded, and turn animals away. KRNW however works tirelessly to accommodate as many clients as possible. Over the past several years, I have been helped by KRNW with the fostering and adoption of abandoned cats and kittens I personally trapped at a retirement facility in our area. Pictures are attached. From neonates to adult and geriatric cats, some released by owners, others recovered by individuals, veterinarians, and local police - KRNW makes every effort to do the best for each cat and kitten. I am impressed by the dedication, professionalism, and compassion shown by KRNW to try and make life better for each the hundreds of cats and kittens taken in each year, no matter the condition of the animal or the circumstances under which it was received.
I became aware of this rescue 3 years ago when I adopted my gorgeous orange tabby (Tanner) at an adoption event in my hometown. The foster kept in touch with me and we shared pictures and she even bought him a toy that she thought he would love 3 months after I adopted. The love that my kitten received from the foster with this rescue prior to my adopting him was immense. Recently, when I had feral cats on my property, one of the females had 3 kittens (Tanner not being the daddy, he is an inside cat). I reached out to Kittens Rescue NW and asked if they could take the 3 babies and they immediately responded with a resounding YES! They send me pictures and keep me updated on their progress as they look for their forever homes. A truly loving and caring rescue that will definitely go the extra mile to assist you through your adoption process.
I have been working as a volunteer and foster with Kitten Rescue NW for over 2 years and have nothing but amazing things to say. It is obvious that everyone working within this rescue truly cares and loves all animals that come into the rescue. I see volunteers give so much of their time and energy on these cats, going above and beyond always. It has been a privilege to work with this rescue the past few years and I plan on continuing to help for as long as I can.
My son and his fiancee brought me a box of kittens, eyes still not open. Momma cat was missing, and kittens were starving.
We called Angie at Kitten Rescue NW, and she came to our house and bottle fed our babies. She had just finished work, but took the time to teach us what we needed to learn.
She literally saved our kitten family.
This is a rescue that truly cares for the smallest, most vulnerable babies with tireless energy and love.
Every donation goes directly to saving lives.
