I learned of Kinna's House of Love quite a few years ago, on the TV news. She had collected coats for people in need and stored them in a church. Someone broke into the church and stole all the coats. Kinna's story hit my heart and I've been helping her ever since. Since then Kinna has been helping more and more people in need. She is a blessing to her community. She deserves the highest rating available .
A friend of mine shared with me about Kinnas House of Love during a dialogue about nonprofits whose staff members walk the walk and talk the talk. When reaching out from a place of helplessness, you want someone in your corner who has already been where you are and has risen from desperation to triumph.
The amount of love, care, and tenacity to better the community is unmatched. You can find hope, encouragement, plenty of helping hands and strength to move yourself through whatever hardships you may be experiencing.

I met Kinna while she was fundraising at Coldstone ice cream in Bettendorf a few summers back. I researched her and learned she helps the community and gets out in the public to do so.
