As a volunteer, I see firsthand how Kindred Hearts strives for perfection with its high standards for animal care. A person only needs to observe and interact with the animals there to know how well cared for they are AND, especially, how loved they are!
I am very proud to be a volunteer with this rescue. I love what they have accomplished and everything they stand for, which is caring for the animals!
The animals are the number one priority and I love helping them achieve that goal.
If you want to see dedication and commitment, this is the place! Every person associated with Kindred Hearts has the best interests of the animals in their care front and center! They are run on donations and volunteers with one mission mindset. Together they achieve more!
Kindred Hearts is simply the best! It’s 100% of the time all about the animals in their care. The volunteers are amazing and dedicated. They are run solely on volunteers and donations.
I started with this rescue almost 2 years ago and throughly enjoy volunteering with them! The people are a joy to be around but it’s the animals that are truly amazing. The horses and the minis are not the only animals cared for here. Kindred Hearts has saved many different animals and people as well. Working with and being surrounded by these beautiful creatures makes my day! Mere words cannot express the beauty and peace both the animals and the humans get to share! I plan on being there as much and as long as I can!
I absolutely love the mission of Kindred Hearts. I’ve been volunteering there since beginning and one of the aspects I especially love is that the animals in their care have a complete, comprehensive and individualized care plan that extends beyond basic food & shelter.
They also partner with other animal organizations in the community, recognizing that when they partner together, the animals in need have a better chance at finding a soft landing that is best suited for that animal.
From a volunteer aspect, you don’t need to be an animal expert to volunteer but if you do want to learn to handle animals’, it is a safe learning environment with a diverse group who are more than willing to share their experience with you. I love being a volunteer and look forward to participating in the journey as their evolution continues.
