Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animal Services, Animals, Wildlife Preservation & Protection

Mission: We provide sanctuary for homeless dogs and rabbits. Many require a few weeks or a few months before they are ready to go to a new home. Others, who are older or have suffered some sort of trauma, may never find a new home. So they have a home here for the rest of their lives, where they will know love and kindness. We generally have 8 to 10 dogs in our rescue at any given time and is run out of my home - not a shelter, so we get to know the dogs pretty well. They aren't all in the house all the time - but they are thoroughly evaluated temperament-wise. So please understand and consider our recommendations on which dog may be right for you and your circumstances. We obviously can't take every dog we get called about, but we do have a "referral system" where we help people place their dogs while they keep them in their homes. So, some of the dogs you may be interested in may not be physically in my rescue and you'll have to go to the owner's home to see them. (But this is not a bad thing - you get a chance to see them in their own environment.)
