Mission: Kids With Heart National Association for Children's Heart Disorders, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation organized to seek out children and adults who have Heart Disorders, whether they are Congenital or acquired in childhood; to provide support, education and informational materials to families to help them in making decision regarding their child's care, provide parent matching while compiling and processing patient-member data using the National Database on Congenital Heart Defects; and the pursuit of getting Congenital Heart Defects recognized as the #1 Birth Defect among the general public. We are striving to achieve these goals by networking all local support groups, nationwide. For this purpose, we maintain a National Database of Local Support Groups for Congenital Heart Defects and will link families to one in their area, if available. We maintain a National Database of families affected by congenital heart defects, whether they be adult congenital heart defect survivors or families of children with congenital heart defects.

Kids With Heart National Association for Children's Heart Disorders, Inc. is the only National Organization which is dedicated solely to the concerns of patients and their families with Congenital Heart Defects. Private donations are the main source of funding for Kids With Heart National Association for Children's Heart Disorders, Inc.

Many cardiac families cannot afford the expense for our services so we do not charge a membership fee. All donations are voluntary.
