Causes: Child Day Care, Children & Youth
Mission: Our purpose is to provide child care so that parents in our community can be gainfully employed. Our mission is to provide trustworthy, dependable child care in a safe, positive environment. We strive to treat each child with respect and kindness.
Programs: In 2014 kid's club provided child care services for 112 children and preschool for 21 children. Stillwater community hospital donates use of a facility they own for this purpose. The estimated value of that facility use is $7,500 per year. During 2014 a toddler academic program was implemented. This program is available to three year olds who didn't make the age cut off for preschool and for those who arrived after the start of the academic year. The program is designed to prepare the children for preschool. During 2014, kids club rented a plot in the community garden. The children helped plant, water, weed, and care for the garden and harvested the produce. Kids club continues to develop programs for the older children such as field trips to the library for summer programs.
