Programs: The corporation is a nonprofit public beneft corporation and the primary purpose is to promote kidney health care; promote and carry on educational activities related to the care of the sick, injured and disabled, or to the promotion of health; promote community health through the provision of health care services to the sick, injured and disabled; promote an carry on such other activities as may be deemed advisable for the betterment of the general health of the community serviced; and improve access to health care services for individuals who are unable to afford them, and participate in programs operated pursuant to titles xviii and xix of the social security act.
