Mission: The purpose of the corporation is to engage in any lawful act or activity for which nonstock corporations may be formed under connecticut law including, but not limted to, (1) the collection and donation of soccer balls for children in iraq, afghanistan, and any location where there may be american troops, in honor of pfc. Nicholas a. Madaras, (2) support for applied behavioral rehabilitation institute, inc. , ("abri") and most specifically its programs entitled homes for the brave and the pfc. Nicholas a. Madaras home, so long as abri qualifes as an organization exempt from tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and other like programs, but in all events not for any purpose not permitted of an organization that is exempt from taxation (4) the distribution of soccer balls and soccer equipment to children in other locations where the need is great and the equipment is appreciated, all in honor pf pfc. Nicholas a. Madaras.
Programs: Distributed 1,600 soccer balls throughout the world to children in need. (the balls were, for the most part, donated anonymously. ) also a considerable amount of youth soccer equipment and clothing was so distributed.
