Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Recreation & Sports, Recreational Clubs, Sports
Mission: To encourage, develop and enhance safe atv riding and outdoor recreation throughout North Houghton and Keweenaw counties. To pursue those activity's necessary to the good housekeeping of the natural wilderness of North Houghton and Keweenaw counties. To encourage safe and responsible atv riding. To assist local authority's and law enforcement agencies as needed.
Results: Our club started over 20 years ago with only 12 miles of trails. We have signed, maintained and repaired and built our system to over 110 miles of atv trails.
Target demographics: Maintain and keep the ATV trails safe.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 7 community's maintain atv trails.
Geographic areas served: North Houghton and Keweenaw countys.
Programs: Volunteering to maintain trails.
