Mission: Kentucky Waterways Alliance's mission is to protect and restore Kentucky's waterways.
Results: >According to the EPA, KWA has been responsible for affording greater protections to 90% of Kentucky's water since its founding in 1993. >Protection of the Ohio River from increased pollution >Protection of the drinking water of nearly 1 million Kentuckians >Provided critical support in almost tripling the number of Outstanding National Resource Waters in the Commonwealth
