Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The mission of the Kene Me-Wu Family Healing Center, Inc., is to create pride in the people for who they are as Native Americans. To create respect for men, women, children and their right to live violence-free lives. To end domestic violence within relationships, families and the communities in which they live. This project is grounded in renewing and reinforcing the Native American culture. To this end, we are committe to providing education to the community, assistance and support to families who are experiencing domestic violence/sexual assault. Violence is not acceptable, nor should it be a way of life for Indigenous People. Our staff and volunteers will promote and advocate for families in an atmosphere that is non-judgemental, confidential, caring and provides a safe environment for all. ALL SERVICES ARE FREE OF CHARGE AND CONFIDENTIAL
