Mission: Keep Nassau Beautiful's mission is to educate and empower individuals to take greater responsibility for their community environment through programs to reduce litter and waste, increase recycling, beautify spaces.
Target demographics: youth, adults, and wildlife
Direct beneficiaries per year: more than 1,200 residents make a difference in the environment through community service, more than 1,000 students engage in learning about the benefits of a clean, green Nassau County, and planted more than 350 trees.
Geographic areas served: Nassau County Florida
Programs: educating and enabling school children, civic organizations, and variety of community groups regarding the benefits and necessity of the reduction of litter and waste, the increase in recycling, and the beautifying of spaces for sustaining quality of life improvements.
