Mission: The mission of kavod elementary charter school is to provide an excellent academic program while teaching modern-day hebrew and developing socially responsible, respectful, global citizens.
Programs: The kavod program focuses on the following: 1)hebrew immersion - studies have shown that learning additional languages at a young age enhances the brain's aptitude for academics and creativity. 2)maintaining a low teacher to student ratio that assists students in their ability to master material. 3)the workshop model to provide interactive learning for the students. 4)a values curriculum that helps students to build good citizenship traits. 5)service learning to help students understand the importance of their role in a community. 6)global awareness - through our culture and history of israel and its immigrant communities curriculum students are exposed to global perspective early in their studies to help students understand how their own community relates to communities around the world.
