Results: The Kathleen Sutton Fund (KSF) has a single and simple mission: To reimburse transportation costs to women undergoing treatment for cancer living in Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, and Mason Counties. Many patients findthemselves in dire financial difficulties, forced to choose between paying the rent or receiving treatment. Through the Kathleen Sutton Fund and generosity such as yours, we can provide some measure of financial relief to patients during their treatment of cancer, with a goal to allow them to focus on healing. The reimbursement process includes costs for ferry, mileage, bridge toll, parking, etc. for the client and a care-giver. Since its inception in 2003, the Kathleen Sutton Fund has helped over 1000, women with over $600,000, in Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, and Mason counties. The numbers from the last 4 years are as follows: 2017: 119 women with $64,436 2018: 131 women with $81,897 2019: 126 women with $89,579 2020: 150 women with $114,970
