Programs: The organization supports a clinic in kateri, nigeria which is a small town where the majority of the population lives in small villages. The nearest hospital is more than 50 miles away. The clinic is staffed with two full time doctors, three nurse practitioners and a lab technician. The clinic is open 24 hours a day and operates a mobile van which provides medical services to remote areas two days a week. The clinic itself is owned and operated by the anglican diocese of kaduna in nigeria. Kateri medical services, inc. Provides financial support to the diocese to pay for payroll expenses, medical supplies and equipment purchases of the clinic. Kateri medical services, inc. Also provides financial assistance to faithcare, inc. , a medical relief organization that sends (see schedule o) medical professionals to the clinic for two weeks each year to conduct more advanced medical procedures that the clinic's regular staff are not trained to perform. Kateri medical services, inc. Provides this financial assistance to faithcare to offset some of the costs incurred during this two week medical relief trip. The clinic serves close to 10,000 patients per year.
