Mission: To foster civic leadership for stronger, healthier, and more prosperous kansas communities.
Programs: Open enrollment - klc "core" leadership development programs (you lead now: 2 day program offered ten times a year, and lead for change: 2 part, 7-day experience offered three times a year) open to anyone interested in making progress on what they care about most. Programs are aimed at equipping people with the skills needed to lead more effectively on the challenges they face.
initiative development - strives to create new programs, make changes to current programs and provide research for potential programs.
faculty and coach development - shares the mission and vision of the kansas leadership center to the public at large, and communicates the benefits of specific kansas leadership center program offerings.
faith expansion, faculty & coaching development, open enrollment, role based classes, fellows vi & vii project, fellows viii project, evaluations research, outreach, alumni, public square, emporia state, legislative assessment, advocacy capacity building plan, subscription, and curriculum.
