Kane's Krusade, Inc.

Kane’s Krusade was a blessing for my and my family. While going thru cancer treatment a friend told me about them and that they might be able to help me. Within hours of reaching out Kim set me up to receive assistance . They delivered dog and cat food to me when I was too sick to make it out for the pick up for a lengthy amount of time. They are a very small organization, but I was blown away by the amount of people that they help all they ask is that when you’re able if you’re able to pay it forward I reached out and wanted to volunteer and they were happy to have me. Most of the volunteers are made up of people who Kim has helped in the past, some are just dog lovers and maybe some are just people who wanna purpose. Each one of their stories touched my heart, some more helped with medical bills, rehoming due to a sick family member not being able to care for them anymore, to training to food and supplies. If Kim can make it work, she does everything she can to help the animals and their families. Kane’s Krusade allowed time to focus on my health without the added expense of dog and cat food was a godsend. I have nothing but good things to say from my own personal experience. This resource helps so many people, I will add a picture of the 5K run. They held this October at Szot Park in Chicopee. Thankyou for all you do and I look forward to volunteering again .

Kanes has been a life saver for my blind bully and I . We live alone and very tight budget, without them I couldn’t afford vet care !!! my dog is all I have I’m 62 and disabled, kanes checks in on my wellbeing as well always there to lend a helping hand !!! Sometimes things don’t go our way and we need help and love Kanes providing that and much more !!! I am an animal advocate and this is a one of kind group , life changing experience to those in need both human and dogs !!!

Lorna is my pup and Kane’s has been a tremendous help throughout the years! The C.A.R.E. (Food, treats, etc..) Kits are brought every couple of months which is so very helpful to me! Kanes has helped recently with covering the teeth cleaning for Lorna and has helped on occasion with covering her meds for her luxating patella’s and her heart issues! They are so caring for the dogs and the humans and create a wonderful community within itself!

My Nasia and I have been so Blessed to have met Kim because the moment we met she has taken us under her wings and Nasia was only 6 months old and she gave her her parvo shots no cost that’s when the parvo outbreak. She gave me her phone number and I explained to her my situation and she helped me with housing and made sure that my Nasia stood with me at all times. My Nasia became my Service Dog she helped me with her training so that she could become a great Service Dog and that she has. Kanes Krusades has also funded for my cats spayed and neutered because those are my Nasia’s cats, without them I really wouldn’t know how I would’ve gotten through all these years. They have also helped me out when I needed help with veterinary care, transportation, food they do so much. They are so much more than a company we consider them family. My furbabies and my family definitely consider them all family.

Kanes and everyone who volunteers there have helped me so much. Due to a family illness, I had to quit my job and move to Chicopee. At the time I had 5 dogs and 3 cats. I cashed in my pension because I needed some kind of income to pay the mortgage on the home I left. One by one my fur babies crossed the rainbow bridge due to old age. I also lost my mom and sister during those years. I needed someone to get me through all the loss. I adopted Buster, a goofy beagle and Lexi my beautiful GS. As the years passed my pension ran out. I did go back to work but I owning 2 homes is expensive. A family member with a disabled child moved into the home I left. Her daughter needed full time care so I continued helping her out. Lexi and Buster were the reason I got up in the morning. Kanes helped me with food and vaccinations. Busters health was deteriorating. His meds were expensive. Kim search for a more reasonable price. They helped me with vet bills and rides. Eventually he the hard decision was made to let him go. Kim was wonderful helping me get through it. Not long after that I lost Lexi unexpectedly. I couldn’t deal with all the loss. I was alone again. A few months went by. My son and daughter brought me a little girl, Molly. She is a bundle of joy. Christmas came and Santa brought me a beagle puppy, Oliver. I couldn’t have gotten through all the loss without the Kanes family. I received so many heartfelt condolences. Kim was my rock. I will never be able to repay them. I didn’t expect this post to be so long. For those of you who read the entire thing I thank you. I have so many good things to say about the Kanes family. PS.
