Programs: In late january 2014, lijun chen travelled to beijing to continue the discussions with the group of psychologists at beijing normal university. Based on dr. Fang's adjustment of research focus, we agreed to get involved in their study of adolescent " internet addiction". In addition, their research will also probe the " student success skills". In early july 2014, we travelled to vancouver to have several face to face discussions with louis yang (business psychologist, testing and assessment professional, at" china select"). China select is an hr-oriented firm, assisting local and international companies in talent selection. He has a lot of insight into the skill-sets and personality traits that would allow college graduates to be successful in their future careers. We would like to tap into that kind of knowledge in order to see how school-aged children and adolescents can gear toward those skill-sets and personality traits. Luis works mostly in beijing and shanghai, but periodally works in the vancouver area.
