Mission: Junior league of wichita, incorporated, is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Junior league of wichita, inc. Reaches out to women of all races, creeds, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism.
Programs: Community projects-junior league of wichita, inc. (jlw) has many community projects and has given numerous gifts to our community. During the year ended june 30, 2017, jlw pledged $150,000 to the wichita children's home. The expense associated with this commitment was recognized during the year ended june 30, 2017, and jlw will be fulfilling this pledge with payments over a three year term with $50,000 paid each year.
