Causes: Women, Womens Service Clubs
Mission: An organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The organization is focused on advancing the intrests of children and families in and around the summit, nj area.
Programs: Operation of a thrift shop, the income from which is used to fund volunteer training and the leagues community grants and programs. The shop also provides a service to low income community members by making clothing, household items and other gently used goods available to them at affordable prices.

the junior league of summit has provided weekly distribution of nutrient dense food to 5,796 summit residents, including 2,985 children and 247 seniors, amounting to over 31,583 pounds through may 31, 2017. Food distributed includes produce, dairy, bread, and prepared foods donated by community partners or purchased by the jls. Program shoppers are also given periodic access to household paper goods and personal care items donated by members and the community.
