Programs: To promote economic education in both public and private schools by providing the curriculum, training materials and volunteer instructors. Junior achievement of memphis reaches over 22,360 students annually in grades k-12.
in addition to our in-school programs and students reached, we also reached 4,800 students in our ja biztown program. This program, specifically for 5th and 6th grade students, focuses on enhancing their economic and financial literacy skills while also teaching the kids why teamwork is needed for a successful business. Based on prep work for five weeks prior to their visit, the students culminating event is a 5 1/2 simulation acting out what's been taught in the classroom.
