Programs: Elementary school program: an economic awareness program designed to build economic literacy and show students the relationship between education and success in the workplace. This program served 107,905 students in the 2016-2017 year.
middle grades program: builds on concepts the students learned in junior achievement's elementary school program and helps teens make difficult decisions about how to best prepare for their educational and professional future. The programs supplement standard social studies curricula and develop communication skills that are essential to success in the business world. Business volunteers serve as role models. They lead discussions and engaging activities, enriching the program with their own experiences and business knowledge. This program served 12,124 students.
capstone program: provides experiential learning opportunities in a business marketplace setting. This program served 21,593 students (13,192 ja biztown and 8,401 ja finance park).
high school programs, including scholarship program: ja usa's high school programs for students in grades 9-12 include economic and business curricula and an after-school student-led enterprise. The dynamic interaction between ja volunteers and students promotes active learning and brings theory to life. The volunteers bring real-life business experience and guidance into the classroom at a time that represents an essential crossroads for young people. The scholarship program awards scholarships to students who have participated in ja company programs.
