I started volunteering with JA in 1996. I taught my daughters class and moved up each year with her. It provides great life lessons that aren't included in your typical school curriculum. Everyone needs basic money management skills in order to be self-sufficient adults.

I started volunteering with Junior Achievement in 1999. JA makes it so easy to volunteer. You get training and everything you will need to teach in the classroom. The information provided is valuable and the material is highly relevant, especially in today's "financial crisis"! I have been a JA volunteer for 11 years and I'm always amazed at how interested and engaged the students are and how much they seem to learn and retain!
