Mission: Junior Achievement will strive to ensure that every child in America has a fundamental understanding of the free enterprise system. The national organization was founded in 1919 in Springfield MA as a "4-H type" program for "city children". Our programs are used in existing classrooms. A volunteer from the community presents grade related topics with activities to the students. Students learn the importance of staying in school, taking responsibility, and the value of our free enterprise system.
