Julia’s Grace Foundation (JGF) is an entirely volunteer-run organization. Every dollar donated or raised goes directly to help bring happiness to children with cancer and their families. For over a decade, JGF has followed the path that Julia, just a child herself, laid out with her list of Ten Things to Do to make you happy. Julia’s legacy provides everything from Hug Boxes to attendance at special events to brighten the day for a child with cancer. Julia’s legacy helps families financially when cancer treatments impact the family’s ability to pay bills. Most recently, Julia’s legacy has inspired a scholarship program for children with cancer or their siblings.
Julia's Grace Foundation cares about kids with cancer and their families. 100% of their efforts are focused on giving "hugs" or "grace" to children and families when they need it most. Everyone involved in Julia's Grace has a sincere passion for touching as many people as possible as personally as possible. They make a difference with financial support, an opportunity to do something fun, or a small comfort---all so that the families can focus on what's important---each other.
This is an organization inspired by the spirit of a child who always thought first of the needs of others when she was living with cancer. Although Julia was taken from us far too early by her illness, her spirit lives on in an organization that helps children with cancer and their families. Julia's Grace Foundation provides "hugs" - comfort items to help kids and families find relief during the trials of cancer care, and "graces"- financial relief for families who struggle to make ends meet during their child's treatment. Volunteers are the soul of the organization and they yearly celebrate Julia's life at "Julia's Palooza" - a day for family and fun. It is an amazing organization
Julia's Grace is a grass-roots foundation created to help children with cancer and their families by providing support to make their days “normal”. The foundation is based upon the generous, loving philosophy of an amazing little girl who battled cancer with a courageous spirit. The organization is run entirely by volunteers, so the funds have the maximum benefit for those who need it most.
It is an honor and privilege to work with such a dedicated group of people, keeping Julia's memory alive and giving to the children and their families who are dealing with such difficult challenges.
