Causes: Child Day Care, Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services, Family Services, Human Services
Mission: Quality child care and education programs are in woefully short supply in the Adams-Morgan area of Washington. Jubilee JumpStart will help to address this need, with priority to residents of Jubilee Housing.
Programs: Beginning in the fall of 2008, Jubilee JumpStart will provide weekday care for 46 children and phase in night and weekend care as needed. To support parents, JumpStart will conduct home visits, offer parenting education, and help parents to address their unique problems.
