Mission: The mission of the jr. Chiefs hockey program is to introduce the youth of our area to the great game of ice hockey. The jr. Chiefs hockey program will provide quality hockey instruction in a positive learning and challenging environment. Every player will receive professional training by former professional hockey players. The goal of the program is to ensure thate every child, participating in the program, can enjoy a positive, character building sports experience while creating a passion for the game. The jr. Chiefs staff ensures that no player is left behind or overlooked while practicing a hockey skill or drill.
Programs: The purpose of the jr. Chiefs hockey development program is to provide adequate and impartial training to all of the hockey participants. The jr. Chiefs hockey development program will emphasize the fundamentals of skating and all hockey skills. Individual attention will be given to the players to ensure that proper techniques are being understood and applied.
jr. Chiefs hockey development program includes 32 hours of ice and professional instruction on saturday and sunday mornings. The curriculum includes: skating instruction; lessons on stick handling; shooting; passing; scrimmaging; and more. Practice jerseys are given to all participants.
