Mission: To provide cards of joy to people who may need some cheer. Fighting depression, one Joy Card at a time.
Results: Over 7,000 Joy Card made and delivered! Over 66 organizations positively impacted by either making Joy Cards or being recipients of the beautiful Joy Cards
Target demographics: battle mental health issues/loneliness and bring joy to senior citizens
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 7,000 senior citizens by delivering Joy Cards to them in senior assisted living facilities.
Geographic areas served: Southern California
Programs: volunteer opportunities for outstanding citizens who want to make a difference in our community by making Joy Cards for senior citizens. Joy Card Project knows that many people suffer from depression, especially among the senior citizen community in nursing homes and senior facilities. We provide outstanding citizens the opportunity to bring a little joy into someone’s life by making a Joy Card.
