My child attended this school and was held in a chokedhold and punched in the face by a teacher aide there, big huge guy at that. The staff is not properly trained on how to diffuse situations with students that have emotional and behavorial challenges. The fact that a student was punched in the face by a teacher aide while being held down by other staff is unacceptable, unjust and justice will be served. No child suffering from and emotional disability should have endured what my child experienced, huge disappointment. Instead of the school calling the police to have the teacher aide arrested, they called the police to report that the student had ran off school grounds as if he was a threat to the community; the aid should have been locked up that day!! INSANE!!!! The student was put out of the school but to think the teacher aide that punched him in the face will still be employed is INSANE, im beyond pissed as any parent would be. They have done nothing to resolve this situation thus far, I will shed light on this by any means necessary before it happens again to someone else's child!!!!!
