Causes: Human Services
Mission: The jssc was formed to provide legal, medical, governmental and financial advisory services free of charge to the sc military department and the sc national guard.
Programs: The jssc met eleven times during 2017. The annual meeting in january 2017 included attendance by the sc adjutant general for the annual briefing on the jssc's services provided to the sc military department during 2016. The annual conference in april 2017 included a briefing about the various services provided to the sc military department in the areas of legal, medical and financial advisory services. The jssc works closely with the adjutant general's staff in promoting the general welfare of members of the sc national guard. The jssc works closely with the sc national guard's youth challenge program to assist young people who have difficulty in educational and troubled behavioral areas.
