Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention
Mission: Our mission is to build successful partnerships to create healthy, drug free communities.
Programs: Jtnn supports collaboration with individuals, community agencies, businesses and government to best utilize available resources and reach a wide public audience through:- development of multi-faceted anti-drug media campaigns aimed at drug education and prevention and increasing access to intervention and treatment services. - providing training opportunities for many types of groups: parents, social workers, law enforcement personnel, medical personnel, and employers to help them identify signs of drug use, co-occuring disorders, codependency and enabling behavior, and the effects on health, family, and work. - providing resources to businesses to help them enforce underage drinking laws. - working with specialty courts to provide assessments and referrals for persons with drug use disorders. Awareness and prevention programs reached nearly 10,000 youth and adults during the year.
