Never did I imagine I would gain more from my volunteer experience, than the guests we serve. Every time (usually weekly) I volunteer at the Family Center I am humbled by the spirit of our guests. They have faced circumstances I cannot even imagine, and yet they are positive, and working to repair their past mistakes and move on with their life.
