the jfs disability service department was created to enrich and empower families and caregivers through professional services, education, advocacy, opportunities, referrals and information of the highest quality within a communal framework. The department has developed programs and services not only to provide answers, but also endeavor to strengthen and improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and those who love them. The disability services department focuses on adult populations, providing employment, social and residential solutions. Services include: information and referral, life planning, community connections, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, supportive employment, medication management, support and social groups, workshops and family education, and inclusion education and activities.
