media luncheon - gathering of media executives, editors, and reporters for a briefing from middle east/israel expert. The event furthers this important constituency's knowledge of complex issues and increases understanding of community concerns.
activist event - this event highlights the extraordinary achievements of a community leader (or couple) through their volunteer activities.
mitzvah day - annual volunteering program on christmas day that brings together jewish and muslim communities to volunteer at social service sites (enabling christian employees to take the day off).
