Mission: Established in 1985 for the purpose of establishing a world class Maritime Museum to be dedicated to preservation of the rich Maritime History associated with the St Johns River basin and Florida's First Coast. To collect and display in public exhibits artifacts intended to convey better understanding of the origins, history and continuing impact to the Community of this heritage.
