Causes: Arts & Culture, Children's Museums
Mission: To implement enriching programs, experiences and interactive spaces that encourage children ages 0-11 to think creatively and to develop through exploration, play, art and inquiry.
Programs: Pre kindergarten and public programming for teton county residents and visitors: with over 15,000 collective visits to the museum annually, we provide a physical space with interactive exhibits and programs for children and their caregivers to play and learn. Our patron programs (3-4 times weekly), offer opportunities to explore through creative and tactile experiences. Preschool program partnerships for underserved populations encourage skill development necessary for kindergarten success.
elementary school programs:we partner with teton county school district #1 to offer integrated steam (science, technology, engineering, art and math) programming for all k-5th grade students, approximately 1,500/year. Designed in collaboration with classroom teachers, these exploratory programs directly support the current curricular units in the classroom.
afterschool and summer programs: we offer a variety of afterschool and summer programming for children in k-5th grade, directly supporting the growing community need for enriching out-of-school programming. Our thematic programs engage children in aspects of arts, sciences, literature and design and encourage creativity and independent-thinking. We serve approximately 200 working families through these offerings.
