Mission: To cultivate, foster and promote interest in agriculture, horticulture, the improvement of soil and stock raising, the improvement of breeding stock, and the encouragement of 4-h members
Programs: The jackson county fair sponsors an annual fair in which agriculture, horticulture and livestock exhibits are featured. There are many educational exhibits and other attractions for the fair-goers to visit during the week-long event. The fair draws approximately 140,000 visitors from the county and surrounding areas.
