Mission: To foster a supportive and productive relationship among the children, parents, teachers, and staff of the j. Spencer smith school, as well as sponsoring supplementary educational, enrichment, cultural and social activities and experiences.
Programs: Lunch program - organization offers 2 sessions of the lunch program. Children have the opportunity to purchase a nutritional lunch 5 days a week. Hot & cold healthy & nutritious menu choices are available.
after school activities - clubs programs - offers 2 sessions of after school clubs programs. The purpose is to provide enrichment activities for the children to participate in.
fifth grade events - the h. S. A. Held special activities to raise funds to cover the costs associated with 5th grade promotion events which included a 5th grade graduation party, teacher/student luncheon, as well as the yearbook. In addition, the 5th grade graduating class presented a gift of water fountains to the school, and made a donation to the center for food action.
