Mission: It's time network is building a framework to support an inclusive and creative community of visionary leaders and change agents who are coalescing a long-term, broad-based civic engagement movement to evolve democracy, to heal and regenerate the earths biosphere and to build local, bioregional, national and global economies that care for the earth and for all people, that share prosperity and that conserve resources.
Programs: By creating a network of people and organizations working for the well-being of all people and the planet, we will strengthen the foundations of our democracy to create a more equitable and regenerative world. To sustain this work, we are building the first national cooperatively owned enterprise to provide enhanced and sustained funding for organizations working to build compassionate communities ready for change: ready to respond compassionately to the changes already upon us due to climate and other disruptions, and ready to proactively change our lifestyles and actions to stop further degrading of our world. To support visionary leaders with a collective vision for our shared future, it's time network will:create an organizational infrastructure to be sustained and funded over generations. Establish a common platform with diverse voices that transcends partisan politics. Cultivate an informed electorate willing to engage in an inclusive national conversation about our common future. Build and track consensus while including critical feedback loops to develop sustained collective civic intelligence. Partner with media outlets for and expressing the will of people. Partner with advocacy and policy organizations to enact policy changes.
