Programs: Free clinic the free clinic provides 100 free healthcare services to the un and under insured residents of tompkins county and the surrounding region. Credentialed volunteer medical and complementary/alternative practitioners provide all health services at the clinic. The free clinic served 1,208 people through 2,870 patient visits in 2014.
community health educatoin the education program provides informational resources to the public that promote health literacy, self care, and informed healthcare choices. The program produced a summer newsletter that reached 2,000 people through an elctronic mailing list in addition to free download on the ithaca health alliance website and print copies at accessible public locations throughout ithaca, new york.
health fund the health fund provides financial assistance and advocacy for income-qualified low-income persons. The fund provided grant assistance to 41 unique persons that helped pay for diagnostic tests essential for their health care process.
