Programs: Refugee case management and health literacy: isuroon served 59 refugee families with an average of 7 members, by providing government resources. All of them attended health literacy orientation and workshops, including information on cervical and breast cancer prevention, female genital cutting and system literacy.
families of children with autism spectrum disorder: isuroon served approximately 40 familes by hosting monthly meetings and home visits, and helping parents learn to take care of themselves to be strong for their children through respite care. Isuroon also provided education to help parents navigate to system to find the right resources to help their children.
community and civic engagement:isuroon served approximately 120 families providing support in speaking with principal and teachers;helping parents navigate the school systems and find betetr schools, and advocate for their children. Civic engagement also included door kncoking around 350 apartments to help the community understand the voting process and voter registration.
