Mission: Through the medium of tennis and education the itc teaches life skills to children of all backgrounds, shapes their character and helps them recognize their potential and realize their dreams. Our 14 centers throughout israel, located in mostly underprivileged neighborhoods, provide disadvantaged children with a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment. This includes coexistence programs for jewish, arab, christian, druze and bedouin youth, holistic welfare programs for at risk children and structured tennis and fitness programs for children with developmental and physical disabilities.
Programs: The most significant program accomplishment supported at the israel tennis centers include resources sent to israel to provide scholarships to underserved, underprivileged, and at risk children to participate in social impact programs utilizing tennis as the vehicle to teach life skills. The foundation also supports programs of coexistence, special needs, english language, and competitive and high performance tennis. Support also maintains the integrity and the safety of the physical plant of the centers. Finally, the foundation works closely with the itc in developing programs in israel, educating both in israel and in the us about the programs, as well as replicating model itc programs in other us institutions. Additionally, the foundation expands awareness of our itc programs to increase involvement and support.
