Its been great to join the ICM congregations after my recent move to Maryland. The ICM campus is great and the programs offered are really helpful for all age groups.
The best place when i joined Maryland / Rockville for a job. It provides me such a live care and family environment that me and my family can never forget.
Our organization, New Neighbors Interfaith Alliance, benefits from the charitable work ICM does in our community. We are able to deliver food from ICM to our refugee families who lack transportation, and encourage our families to go to ICM when they are able on their own. This support is life-giving. The ICM staff and volunteers are always kind an respectful.
I was out of work during the pandemic, with my husband disabled funds were low. I thank God for the Islamic Community for the great work they’re doing to help to help us and our families with food , clothing and other resources, I must say I’m truly thankful to everyone who gives and volunteers for such an enormous cause, many blessings.

I am vert happy to share as the Islamic Center has helped provide food for a elderly gentleman who has very limited finances. He has been very grateful for the health care also. The volunteers are wonderful, kind and nice people.
I joined ICM Cares volunteering back in 2019 during COVID. I was amazed by the vibe, the dedication, and perseverance of the team. Drive thru food drives are so much fun (especially the ones we had during snow and rain). Events are well organized and signup sheets are posted in advance with many days and roles to chose from. I’m very glad to be part of this volunteering team.
Islamic Center Of Maryland has a great food distribution program. Our family enjoys spending time together with other volunteers preparing the food boxes.
Every year ICM help thousand of people for food distribution, senior citizens cares and needy people to distribute food and basic things..

ICM is a great partner when it comes to food distribution in the community.
They collaborate with the American Muslim Senior Society. (AMSS) to provide food to isolated seniors in the community. Every third Sunday of the month for the last two years- ICM has provided 150-180 boxes of non-perishable foods, sometimes meats, produce, eggs & bread are provided when available.
They have volunteers ready to assist in loading AMSS volunteer vans/cars. They are an important part of AMSS Halal Meals on Wheels program which provides cook meals, produce and non- perishable foods twice a month.
AMSS is grateful to have ICM as a partner to help address food insecurity in the community

ICM has worked tirelessly through the pandemic to provide food and vaccines to our community. They are an amazing resource!
ICM's free Clinic amazing resource for Maryland, especially for people who doesn't have insurance. I was able to use the service my self. Volunteering doctors and staff are truly amazing. Their care is much more than paid ones. Thank you!
Also, since Covid started, I was able to meet and help volunteers. ICM distributed groceries to thousands of families every month. It was also great for people who volunteered to socialize and forget the difficult times.
Most sincere and dedicated volunteers are part of this program and making a difference in the community!

The Islamic Center of MD (ICM) has come out in full force to help the community during these challenging times (COVID-19). The dedicated volunteers have been instrumental in giving back to the community through the organized food distribution programs at ICM. I happen to have volunteered on few occasions and enjoyed volunteering.
I am Senior Citizen, Due to Arthritis I can't drive to ICM, but ICM Staff is always helping me whatever I need, always deliver to me, help me with all issues, ICM has great team who is always there to help, and everyone. Doing Great Job for everyone in MD. I am very happy with the service and wish them more success in future. GREAT TEAM
I am a senior citizen and I don’t have a ride to go to any food drives but ICM has been a very valuable companion to people like me. Their relentless volunteers have never forgotten to bring me home all the necessary produce and groceries. I am so thankful to Islamic Centre of Maryland for providing me full support. God bless
The ICM free clinic was rolled out for the first time even though it's not even open yet the medical staff consists of doctors and medical students the rollout was very impressive and I look forward to a wonderful free clinic service for this area which is desperately in need of one for the general day of dignity event it looked like there must have been 60 or 70 volunteers of all ages and diverse backgrounds what a wonderful sight to see so many people working hard to help others
ICOM continually supports the area community with periodic food distributions, as well as gifting children’s books. My family has benefited emensly from the generosity of ICOM during these difficult times.

Islamic Center of Maryland (ICM) continues to do an outstanding work to help those who need food and other assistance, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or national origin. The dedicated volunteers of all ages have been recognized for their selfless work. Since the start of the pandemic, ICM has held regular food distribution events and has become a lifeline for thousands and thousands of area residents.
As a needy citizen of Md. getting disabled has really hit me especially in the pocket. Someone told me about ICM to get some food well, not only that one time but as long as they have supplies we all will get a phone call or text about coming in for some well nourished food supplies. [Info removed for confidentiality purposes] is the kindest person together with her amiable group of volunteers. I have never seen anyone move on feet that looks as though she is moving on skates. She wastes no time in getting you your food, it is like a well oiled moving production line. I am hoping MoCo, Md state provide this group with some either supplies or monetary assistance to continue providing us supplies and other new families. The need is overwhelmingly great. ICofM provided my family with much needed food and cooking supplies. This pandemic has affected my family, and it's a blessing to know that ICofM has been there to provide this vital support for us.
We are especially grateful to Adileh and all the other volunteers who have braved the cold weather to help our communities during these difficult times.

They gave us hope. My parents are elderly and have underlying medical conditions so iCM filled a gap with their services for the elderly during this unsettling time. Their service is much needed to help those in need and so appreciated by those they serve.
During covid 19 started, I had to quit my jod because my health wasn't at 100% I was fighting against leukemia and it was very hard decision but my health. Like fallen from heaven,the Islamic group, helped with bringing food to my family and I felt bless to have them because otherwise I didn't have any money to buy food. You can tell the true strength of a community by how they deal with a crisis. Truly blessed and privileged to be working with such amazing volunteers, as the ICM Deliver with Care group. They came together as the pandemic started, despite COVID concerns they shopped, they packed, they delivered ! They learned and adapted. When the need grew they spent hours packing and hosting food drives, through the entire summer. What an amazing team of volunteers, what an amazing display of faith.

Our family and our neighbors have been receiving support from ICM from the start of their pandemic outreach. We have disability’s and are immunocompromised, and our neighbors, a family of 6, are ALL COVID positive. ICM has been incredible about providing produce boxes to both families, reaching out to make sure we are aware of events and also sending along other partner organization information. Adileh and her volunteers are kind, warm, friendly and go above and beyond to provide much needed produce and pantry items in a way that preserves dignity and is truly helpful. ICM sources and provides high quality pantry boxes with critically needed items like flour, oil, sugar, vegetables, fruit and other items. They make it happen with limited funding and are one of the BEST non profits/faith based organizations supporting a diverse community of people in need during this pandemic.

As a volunteer at ICM, I have had a wonderful experience working with an amazing team.
During this trying time, ICM has stepped up to help our community, especially with food distribution during our food drives. I love the diversity at ICM, it makes me feel welcomed and part of the community. During my experiences at ICM, I have witnessed how EVERYONE IS WELCOMED (either if you are a volunteer or someone in need).
ICM has always been involved with community service (feed the hood, food for sisters, and numerous other drives) but they have gone above and beyond during these pandemic times. From delivering food to seniors to feeding Montgomery County, the volunteers have been there for anyone who needs help. Thank you ICM!

From sourcing donations, to communicating with nearby localities and other places of worship to managing the distribution during drive-through food donations, ICM is standing as a true example of what a non-profit should be and is living the true spirit of Islam - Help Thy Neighbor!
The ICM leadership has done a great job with managing volunteers and assigning tasks. The leadership provides adequate information and is readily available for questions and clarifications, so the volunteer only needs to focus on the assigned tasks.
