Mission: To promote research and education in the areas of interest to the practice of dentistry. The organization accomplishes this mission by granting scholarships, providing guidance and by other similar means assisting worthy students to obtain instruction and training in dental studies; undertaking studies related to the practice of dentristry; conducting various programs and seminars which seek to educate the practitioners of dentristry and the public; and by holding the annual mission of mercy.
Programs: Mission of mercy - a free dental clinic with services provided by volunteers for the uninsured, underinsured, or anyone who can't afford to see a dentist. The 2016 mission of mercy was held september 23, 2016 through september 24, 2016 in dubuque, iowa. Over 1,300 patients were provided dental services such as cleanings, extractions, fillings, and root canals.
