Mission: The exchange of ideas,research data and pertinent information,including nutrition, breeding and management, between research scientists, teachers, representatives of industries and others involved in turfgrass development and use. It accomplishes it 's exempt purpose in two ways. Its encourages telephone conferences amoung the members, publishes and distributes to members a newletter and holds an international conference every four years. The scientific presentations at the conference are compiled in a journal which is available for sale to all interested parties. In 2005 the conference was held in london, england.
