Mission: Support educational programs that foster and promote the evolution of reconstructive microsurgery through keynote lectureships, presentations in scientific meetings, participation in national and international societies and networking among colleagues and pioneers. Support and promotion of clinical research in restorative microsurgery.
Programs: Participated in the preparation of manuscript on "my experience with common peroneal nerve lesionsx; participated in the columbia/cornell research night - discussion of research projects and choosing best papers.
gave lecture at the nerve cource at nyumc; discussion on nyumc microfellowship and hand surgery program. Active participant with the american association of plastic surgeons; attended aaps congress in texas; discussed several papers during the scientific sessions; defining priorities for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
mentoring young plastic surgeons in the art of facial reanimation
