I have been volunteering for the International Institute for over five years. The are opportunities to do everything from help teach English, to office work, to setting up apartments for refugees. The refugees them selves are among the hardest trying, most brave people you will ever meet. They have been displaced by war and have no doubt seen horrible things but are settling here in Lowell full of hope and gratitude. You will learn more from them then they will from you!
